What to know about 2024 Red Stick Cannabis Street Fair

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Red Stick Cannabis Street Fair makes its return to the capital city.

The upcoming festival is expected to take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 at Galvez Plaza in downtown Baton Rouge and is hosted by Capitol Wellness Solutions. The festival is for residents ages 18 and up.

The event will have vendors, live music, food trucks and exhibits. Artists listed on the lineup include Max Minelli, Dylan Cage, Quikkdraw, Universal Language, Ambush and DJ Bootsie.

According to the official website, the purpose of the festival is to celebrate the healing power of the Cannabis plant and educate the public about the related science, policy, criminal justice and social equity issues.

Kids, family can attend new music festival coming to Baton Rouge this fall

The Red Stick Cannabis Street Fair requires all attendees to have a state-issued photo ID in order to purchase age-restricted items such as alcohol and CBD.

General admission tickets for the festival are available and cost $20. VIP tickets are $42.20.

Parking

Metered street parking in downtown is free all day on Saturdays and Sundays. There are also 11 parking garages located in the area, according to the Downtown Development District.
