Klondike is known for its square chocolate-covered frozen dairy dessert treats, but it’s branching out of that box with two new innovations in 2021. Klondike Shakes and Klondike Cones are headed to the freezer aisle to give you even more creamy goodness options, Best Products can exclusively reveal.

Let’s start with the shakes, which come in Chill Out & Vanilla and Wind Down & Chocolate flavors. Each frozen dairy dessert shake comes in a 4.7-ounce pouch that is already made for you. All you have to do is take the pouch out of the freezer, wait 3 minutes, and drink. There’s no need to blend, shake, or mix anything, so it really couldn’t be easier to enjoy a chocolate or vanilla milkshake whenever you have a sweet craving.

The other new offering is the Klondike Cones, which come in three different multiflavor boxes. You can get a box with Classic Chocolate and Nuts for Vanilla, Double Down Chocolate and Classic Chocolate, and Unicorn Dreamin’ and Vanilla Chillin’. All of the flavors are pretty self-explanatory, but we know you’re curious about that unicorn one. The green cone is filled with strawberry and bubblegum frozen dairy dessert, strawberry sauce core, and chocolatey coating. All in favor of getting our hands on that box immediately?

The Klondike Shakes will come in a box of six pouches (either all chocolate or all vanilla) for a suggested retail price of $5.99. They’ll be available at major retailers nationwide beginning in February 2021, so check your local grocery store wherever you typically buy Klondikes. The Klondike Cones will be available in eight-count boxes for $$6.99 and will come come out a little sooner, in January 2021, so don’t be surprised when the eight-count boxes start popping up in stores.

“We saw an opportunity to bring the delicious taste of a classic diner shake directly to your freezer — no blender needs,” Russel Lilly, vice president of U.S. Ice Cream at Unilever, said in press materials. “Klondike Shakes give a new spin on the treat with its mess-free squeezable pouch, so anyone in the family can enjoy at home or on the go.”

Thanks to Klondike, our next late-night ice cream run is going to be more difficult. But that just means we’ll have to try all of the varieties to know which we like best.
