Kim Kardashian Teased a Possible KKW Beauty Eyeliner Launch on Instagram
In the past year, KKW Beauty products have graced our faces, lips, bodies, and lids. Now, Kim may be coming for our waterlines.
Recently, Kim Kardashian posted a series of photos to her Instagram Stories showing her arm covered in black and brown lines. “Makeup testing,” she wrote on top of one of them. The images were screenshot by makeup news account Trendmood, which guessed that this may mean that KKW Beauty eyeliners are coming soon.
As someone who has spent her fair share of time comparing felt versus pencil tip products in the aisles of Sephora, these sure do look a lot like eyeliner swatches to me. Kardashian’s arm is covered in different shades of brown and black, and there are even a few swipes of what looks like nude and golden options. The lines are all different shapes, sizes, and opacities, which could mean she’s trying to decide on the formulation of the upcoming product. Commenters also guessed that it could be a brow pomade or pencil, but as with any Instagram-teased Kardashian beauty product (looking at you, Kylie Jenner) only time will tell what she’s actually up to.
Kardashian is the queen of kohl-smudged eyes on the red carpet, so it would make sense that an eyeliner would be the next addition to her line. KKW Beauty has previously collaborated with makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic on an eye shadow palette and Glam Masters winner Argenis Pinal on shadow pencils, but this would be the first time the brand would be dipping its makeup brush into actual liners.
Allure has reached out to a rep from the brand for more information about the potential upcoming launch, and in the meantime we’ll be practicing applying our cateyes, just in case.
