Kitties at Cat Cafe Have Zero Interest in Being Serenaded by Ed Sheeran

I think the majority of pet owners sing to our pets. Whether it's made up songs about their nicknames or songs about how beautiful they are or how much we love their little snuggle wuggle wittle whiskers I think a lot of us have been guilty of subjecting our pets to a personal private concert. And most of us aren't even famous!

Well, someone who also fails miserably at impressing animals with his musical talents is Grammy award winning singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran, judging from the reaction these cats had to his performance at a cat cafe in Japan Sheeran posted to his Instagram account on Tuesday.

Sheeran captioned the video, "Trying to win over the same kitties that ran away from me in 2014, same results."

I have no idea what magical cat cafe Sheeran visited in Japan but are those cats available for adoption because each one is more amazing looking than the last!

Ed Sheeran is a cat dad and sadly his cat Graham was hit by a car and killed in 2019.

Two of his cats named Dorito and Calippo have their own Instagram account with over 250,000 followers.

Well, at least we don't have to feel bad about our own pets not loving the songs we sing to them when we aren't even Grammy winners or friends with Taylor Swift.

Amazing Cat Cafes in the USA

The world's first cat café, "Cat Flower Garden" , opened in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1998 and eventually became a global tourist destination, and now there are cat cafes in pretty much every city in the USA. I don't know what we even did before cat cafes opened because now what could be better than enjoying a cup of coffee or even drinking a glass of wine and hanging out with adorable cats? Here are just a few of our favorite cat cafes.

The Neko Cat Cafe in Bellingham, Washington is always one of our very favorite TikTok accounts for showcasing their adoptable cats in the most hilarious and innovative ways.

The popular cat cafe in Los Angeles, Crumbs and Whiskers is an Instagram-worthy photo backdrop and also has truly adorable kittens for adoption.

The Fat Cat Cafe in Tallahassee, Florida has helped over 1,300 cats find their forever homes. Their entry fee is $10 an hour.

The Koneko Cat cafe in NYC not only has adorable cats for adoption, but a full menu featuring Japanese food. Kitties and food? Sounds like a purrfect date night to us!

If you are looking for a fun way to support your local cat population and maybe find the perfect furry friend for you, a cat cafe is a super fun way to do so. Plus, a lot of these cafes work with local animal shelters and humane societies to find homeless kitties their forever families. Just check your google directory, and you are sure to find a cat cafe close to your city!
