Kit Kat Is Releasing an Apple Pie Flavor and We Can't Wait to Put It Over Ice Cream
Kit Kat has truly been stepping it up lately. Although we can simply never pass up a classic chocolate Kat (especially if it's been in the freezer), they've recently gifted us with lots of new flavors like Lemon, Birthday Cake, and now, Apple Pie.
The brand confirmed the announcement to Delish, and, yes, it's just the latest in new and surprising flavors that it has coming for us this year. If you've had any of the recent flavors, you'll probably know what to expect, but in case you need a little more description, Kit Kat describes this treat as its "iconic wafer surrounded in the delicious taste of Apple Pie." YUM.
Although I personally associate apple pie with Thanksgiving because I am a freak who hates pumpkin pie, I DO know a lot of people make apple pie for barbecues, particularly for Fourth of July, so in case you don't feel like getting all hot in your kitchen with the oven on and everything, just put out a few of these. Your family will totally love it, I promise. I could also see these being the perfect topping for an ice cream sundae. What's more summer than that?
That said, if you wanna get your hands on a pack of Apple Pie Kit Kats, you will probably have to wait just a second. They will be available at retailers nationwide starting in July, and they'll only be available for a limited time. But once they're gone, here's hoping we'll be on to the NEXT exciting flavor. I'm already ready for fall, to be honest...
