Kit Kat Has Basically Confirmed Which New Flavors Are Really Coming Out in 2020
If you’ve been following the recent Hershey’s Kit Kat news, then you know that there are a rumored six new flavors slated to hit stores in 2020. From Birthday Cake to Apple Pie to Cotton Candy, next year is shaping up to be one of the tastiest yet. It hasn’t been confirmed which flavors will actually be gracing shelves, but Kit Kat has finally weighed in, and it’s good news!
“Hey @BestProducts,” the verified @KitKat_US page tweeted, “are you sure?” We’re assuming that they saw our article on the Chocolate Cream Pie, Orange Creamsicle, Cotton Candy, and Cherry Cola flavors that are reportedly coming out next year. The tweet is accompanied by six unpackaged Kit Kat bars in fun colors and what appear to be all new flavors.

A week later, the Kit Kat page tweeted again — this time with four packaged new Kit Kat flavors! “Taking a little inspiration from Thanksgiving #KitKatFlavors,” it reads. Two of the four flavors were ones rumored to be coming out and the other two are brand-new to our eyes!
As long as Kit Kat isn’t toying with our hearts, we can expect limited-edition Chocolate Cream Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Apple Pie, and Blueberry Pie some time in the future. Looks like someone in corporate loves pie, huh? The strange thing, though, is that the first tweet with the unwrapped chocolate bars shows colors that don’t match those four exact flavors. If you ask us, the unwrapped bars look like (top left to right) Cherry Cola, Chocolate Cream Pie, Cotton Candy, Apple Pie, Birthday Cake, and Orange Creamsicle. So now we are all kinds of confused.
Since brands tend to test out new flavors before bringing them to market, this could be a case of Kit Kat seeing which flavors get the most excitement and then going from there. If that’s the case, we’re putting in our official plea for Birthday Cake, Apple Pie, Chocolate Cream Pie, and Blueberry Pie to make its way into our stomachs, please and thank you.
