Kit Harington and Rose Leslie in Matching Sweaters
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie continue to be one of the most adorable showbiz couples around, and their latest outing is no exception. On a shopping trip in New York on Friday, Harington and Leslie coordinated their outfits by wearing extremely warm-looking sweaters, that were more than a little reminiscent of Harry Potter.
Their chunky knits felt inspired by the Gryffindor colors, with Leslie staying more true to Gryffindor House than Harington:
Harington and Leslie met while filming Game of Thrones in 2012, playing onscreen love interests, Jon Snow and Ygritte. The chemistry continued offscreen, and after a quiet courtship, which their kept out of the public eye, Harington and Leslie confirmed their engagement in September 2017, with an official announcement in The Times of London which read:
"Mr K.C Harington and Miss R.E Leslie - The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire."
On the Late Late Show in June 2017, Nicole Kidman suggested that Harington should be proposing to Leslie now that the pair were living together. Not holding back, Kidman asked him, "Are you going to get married, or?... No, I just think it's kind of nice if you're going to live together maybe to at least get engaged."
Harington was visibly surprised at the time replying, "I've been put on the spot by Nicole Kidman! I mean well it's step by step, step by step." But it seems as though Kidman's suggestion might have spurred the Game of Thrones actor into action, to propose to Leslie. And matching Harry Potter sweaters feels like the logical next step, right?
