Kit Harington Is Making Us Feel All the Feels in the Trailer For a New 'GoT' Doc

We are not ready to say good-bye to Game of Thrones when the last episode ever airs on Sunday, May 19. It’s been a long, intense journey for the last eight seasons and it’s all about to just… end. But one thing that’s keeping our spirits somewhat lifted today is the trailer for HBO’s Game of Thrones: The Last Watch and Kit Harington’s emotional reaction to the final cast table read which opens the trailer. The documentary will air on May 26, once the dust has settled on the GoT story for good, allowing us one final look at everything it took to make this epic fantasy series — and the eighth and final season, in particular — an undeniable global hit.

The trailer for The Last Watch is full of all the feels and fans will totally get why this documentary will be an emotional journey into the final season. The trailer opens with showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss addressing the cast, with Weiss remarking, “This is strange. Here we are, at the last table read, and it’s like looking around and seeing your family.” As Weiss says this, you can see Harington put his hand over his mouth, clearly verklempt and unable to deal. Don’t you just wanna hug him and tell him everything will be ok? Goodness knows I sure do. He definitely needs some kind of comfort because GoT costars Sophie Turner and Rory McCann, who play Sansa and The Hound respectively, are seen behind him laughing at his reaction which, like, c’mon guys! Be sensitive to our sweet Kit.
