Even bad guys have love stories. And Kirra Hughes knows this from firsthand experience. Hughes watched her romance go south IRL while dating Hunter Moore, the subject of Netflix's new documentary, The Most Hated Man On The Internet.

Hughes and Moore dated during the heyday of his revenge porn site, Is Anyone One Up? Victims would sometimes reach out to her in the hopes that she could appeal to Moore's softer side and get their nude photos (which were often stolen or posted without permission) taken down, The New York Post said.

Spoiler alert: She couldn't. Eventually, she'd booked a one-way ticket to New York City and never look back.

Now, in the new Netflix docuseries, which premiered on July 27, Hughes reflects on her time with Moore and his involvement with the exploitative revenge porn site. But, as the credits start rolling, everyone is left wondering where Kirra Hughes is now, and how she moved on.

Who is Kirra Hughes?

Kirra Hughes was born and raised near San Diego, California in a small beach town called Encinitas, she said in a Photobook interview. She moved to San Francisco when she was 18 to study fashion design, according to the documentary. She is currently 31 years old.

Around the time she moved to San Francisco, she met Hunter Moore, according to The New York Post. The two quickly began dating.

When Hughes first learned about Moore's website, she didn't know what to make of it. "I just thought it was bizarre. I just never fully grasped what was going on,” she says in the doc, per the New York Post.

Hunter Moore's site, Is Anyone Up?, which launched in 2010, posted naked photos of people, along with their name, profession, hometown, and social media profile, without their knowledge or consent.

Often, angry and vengeful ex-boyfriends or girlfriends would submit nudes to the site that would come up whenever the subject's name was searched.

Moore also hired hackers to steal images from people's private email accounts to expose on the site, according to Rolling Stone.

How long were they dating?

While there's no official date out there for when they started (and stopped) dating, it seems like the two probably got together around 2010 but had then parted ways by 2014, when Moore was arrested.

After Is Anyone Up? was forced to shut down, Moore was arrested by the FBI and pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated identity theft and aiding and abetting in the unauthorized access of a computer, according to the Department of Justice. He was sentenced to two years and six months in prison in 2015.

And when she was about 23, Hughes moved to New York, per her Photobook interview.

What did Hughes know about Is Anyone Up?

Although Hughes was aware of Moore's shady business, she says she wasn't involved in any wrongdoing. And she seems to feel badly about what happened.

“I feel ashamed and upset. I just wish I had known better at the time,” she says in the documentary, discussing her lack of action, per The New York Post.

Hughes decided to leave California only after she, too, was affected by Moore's site. Victims whose photos were posted on Is Anyone Up?, sent Hughes threatening and pleading messages, hoping that she could help convince Moore to remove their own images, per The New York Post.

Despite receiving Facebook messages asking for her assistance, Hughes was not able to help, stating in the documentary that, "One of my biggest regrets is not speaking up when I had a voice," per The New York Post.

Where is Kirra Hughes now?

She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, and works as a model and pop designer, she told Photobook. You may recognize her from The Kooples, Filthy Mouth Creative, and Ponyboy advertisements.

Recently, she was also featured in Dräger's music video, "New Life."

Clearly, Hughes has moved on with her life, leaving the "King of revenge porn" behind on the opposite coast. She personifies her life motto, "don’t stop dancing when the music gets turned off," with her remorse and resilience.
