Just over 100 years ago, British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the golden tomb of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun, who died more than 3000 years ago, surrounded by all his treasures.

The exhibit invites visitors to step into the archaeological site of 1922.

The exhibit launches on Thursday, May 2, and is open on Wednesdays through Mondays (closed Tuesdays).

Ticket prices start at $25.90 for children and $33.90 for adults – all ages are welcome. You can visit the exhibit at the Rhode Island Center, which is at 524 Rhode Island Ave. NE.

In all, the experience lasts between an hour and a half and two hours.
