King Charles and Princess Anne were born just 21 months apart. Their mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, was still Princess Elizabeth when they arrived, and they were both very young when she ascended to the throne. After their mother became queen, they moved into Buckingham Palace. Yet, growing up in the royal family, it's safe to say that Princess Anne and Prince Charles didn't have a normal childhood, and came to rely on one another.
Since the death of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Anne has been right by her brother's side. In a statement, Princess Anne said, "I am also so grateful for the support and understanding offered to my dear brother Charles as he accepts the added responsibilities of The Monarch." And that visible support has continued, through Charles's coronation and beyond. Their close-knit relationship is chronicled in the hit show, The Crown, but read on to see what it looks like in real life. Here, see the best photos of royal siblings King Charles and Princess Anne through the years.
