King Charles Had the Most Awkward Reaction to a Fan Asking Him to “Bring Back Harry”

This week in supremely awkward royal family moments, King Charles was out and about greeting people during a trip to the University of East London, when—as first reported by Us Weeklya person said, “Bring back Harry, please. Can you bring him back, sir?” In response, Charles asked, “Who?” It seems like the King didn’t hear, but when the person replied, “Harry, your son,” he just chuckled and moved on.

This moment comes about a month after Prince William and Kate Middleton’s trip to Merseyside, where a member of the media shouted out, “Were you hurt by the comments in Harry’s book, sir?” and the couple either ignored the comment or didn’t hear it.

There’s a chance that King Charles could “bring back Harry” for his upcoming coronation in May, but apparently, they aren’t on speaking terms which makes planning kinda difficult.

“It is such a momentous occasion for Charles, and he would want his son to be at the coronation to witness it,” a source told People. “He would like to have Harry back in the family. If they don’t sort it out, it will always be part of the King’s reign and how he has left his family disjointed. He has had a reputation as a distant parent, and it would be awful for him for that to continue.”

Problem is, “William is the one who is most upset and needs time to calm down. He has been painted as hotheaded and unsympathetic,” the source mused. “But I don’t think he will back down—it’s whether they can move beyond it and accept that they view things differently.”

King Charles’s coronation is on May 6, so guess the royals have a couple months to work out their drama.
