To celebrate the holiday season, King Charles visited JW3 London, a Jewish community center in North London. The British monarch took place in a pre-Hanukkah celebration (the Festival of Lights begins on Sunday evening at sundown) that JW3 hosted for Holocaust survivors.

At the party, Charles danced the hora to the tune of various Jewish songs, including "To Life" from Fiddler on the Roof and "Oseh Shalom." You can watch him dance here:

This is not his first Hanukkah celebration—in 2019, he hosted a pre-Hanukkah reception at Buckingham Palace, for example.

Recently, it was revealed in Charles's coronation oath in May 2023, he will change how "Defender of the Faith" is described. In Queen Elizabeth's coronation, she promised to be "Defender of the Faith upholding the rights of the Church of England." For Charles, however, the Daily Telegraph reports he will recognize that he serves all religious faiths.

In 1994, he opened up on his feelings about the title "Defender of the Faith." The King shared, "I personally would rather see it as Defender of Faith, not the Faith, because it means just one particular interpretation of the faith, which I think is sometimes something that causes a deal of a problem. It has done for hundreds of years. People have fought each other to the death over these things, which seems to me a peculiar waste of people's energy, when we're all actually aiming for the same ultimate goal."
