Kind Woman Takes Shelter Dog Home for a Sleepover in the Hopes of Getting Her Adopted
She's the best slumber party buddy!
Considering there are roughly 3.9 million dogs surrendered to animal shelters each year, it's hard for these places to find every dog a loving forever home. Which is why it always bring so much joy to our hearts when we see kind rescue workers going the extra mile to bring attention to these adoptable dogs.
That's what TikTok account holder and shelter worker @Asparagus.Tempura did when she took one of her shelter dogs home for a sleepover, and this baby deserves a loving home for the holidays.

Some people in the comments were asking why she was brought to a home only to return her to the shelter, and Asparagus explained, "Giving them a break from a shelter environment is beneficial for them in many ways. If she doesn’t stay with me she will be adopted quickly." Shelter workers can't keep every stray animal they find, and giving them a break from the shelter is such a kind thing to do. Here's hoping she finds a permanent home quickly!
