Kind Woman Can't Afford to Keep Dog She Rescued From Storm and Strangers Want to Help
I don't know about you, but I love a good animal rescue story. Whether it's a farm animal saved from slaughter or a pet taken in from a shelter, every adoption story is as special as the last. Just take it from new dog mom @kendall.lajewski!
This kindhearted woman took in a dog who she found hiding from a thunderstorm outside, and the result couldn't be sweeter. At first, Kendall couldn't afford to keep the rescue dog, but the generosity of strangers came to the rescue.

Aww! This is such a special way for a person and their pup to find one another, even if Stormy had to endure a few challenges to get there. Clearly, this is exactly where she's meant to be! Unfortunately, Kendall wasn't exactly prepared to take on the responsibility of a dog.
And we completely understand! Owning a pet requires a lot of time, money, patience, and learning. It can be difficult to jump into that role overnight, especially when finances are already tight. Fortunately, so many of her TikTok fans understood, too!
Just a few hours after the video was posted, Kendall commented, "Please don't Venmo anymore! Y'all are more than generous." That's amazing to see so many people rally in support for a rescued stray dog and her owner, though not as amazing as Stormy's updates are going to be. As of July 17, Stormy is officially Kendall's dog!
