Kimberly Guilfoyle, Dating Donald Trump, Jr., Was Reportedly Let Go From Fox News for Emotionally Abusive Behavior

Kimberly Guilfoyle allegedly left Fox News after allegations of sexual misconduct and emotional abuse.

Former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle’s departure from the network last week was billed as her decision, as she took a job leading a pro-Donald Trump super PAC. But HuffPost has a report from multiple anonymous sources alleging that Guilfoyle was forced out of her position due to reports of inappropriate behavior including sexual misconduct.

Guilfoyle used to be married to Gavin Newsom, currently running for governor of California, but is now in a relationship with Donald Trump, Jr., who separated from his wife, Vanessa, earlier this year. Guilfoyle was a protégé of Roger Ailes, the Fox News chairman who left the network after multiple allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct from employees including Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly. Among other details in the HuffPost report is that Guilfoyle allegedly tried to rally support for Ailes during his ousting, ostracizing herself from many women at the network.

Guilfoyle’s lawyers have reportedly been involved in negotiating her fate at the network since this spring, and she allegedly received a “stern warning” about her behavior in the fall of 2017. Also in 2017, Guilfoyle’s close Fox News colleague Eric Boyle was pushed out due to a report that he send unsolicited lewd photos to women he worked with. “They shared a young female assistant who, according to three sources, was deeply unhappy at work and was desperate to get out from under what she described to sources as Guilfoyle’s emotionally abusive behavior and attempts to involve her in her personal sexual matters by regularly sharing details about her sex life,” according to the HuffPost report. Other sources told HuffPost that she had been accused of “showing personal photographs of male genitalia to colleagues (and identifying whose genitals they were), regularly discussing sexual matters at work, and engaging in emotionally abusive behavior toward hair and makeup artists and support staff.”

Guilfoyle’s lawyer has said the allegations are “unequivocally baseless and have been viciously made by disgruntled and self-interested employees.”
