Kim Kardashian Wore a Super Slinky White Slipdress with a Luminescent Shell Clutch
Kim Kardashian made a statement in a closet staple while attending the Time100 Gala in New York City yesterday.
The SKIMS founder looked elegant in a slinky, bias cut John Galliano slipdress, which featured thin spaghetti straps with tiny silver buckles and a small train. She continued to up the ante with her accessories. For jewelry, she wore layers upon layers of necklaces—including a silver-and-white beaded choker necklace with a bedazzled cross pendant, a crystal pendant necklace on a bejeweled chain, and a long silver chain necklace. She also carried a luminescent shell clutch from Chanel.
Earlier this week, Kardashian appeared at the 2023 Time100 Summit in a completely see-through suit. The eye-popping look, courtesy of Rick Owens, was comprised of a long blazer and wide-leg pants made of a gauzy, sheer fabric. Underneath, she wore matching bandeau. She finished the look with beige pointed-toe heels, diamond stud earrings, and her diamond "Kim" chain.
During the summit, Kardashian reflected on her journey toward becoming an entrepreneur, as the head of SKIMS and her skincare line, SKKN.
"I chose to put myself first for once and just choose my happiness. And I felt like I was putting so many other people and their happiness in front of my own. And it just dawned on me like, 'Why am I so concerned to make everyone else happy and not myself?'" she said. "And when you just choose to do that, it doesn't mean that you disregard everyone else and their feelings. I have so many family members, so many kids, there's just a lot of people around that I like to make happy. And when you choose to do that... it re-shifted my perspective and allowed me to just focus on me, my babies, my business and what really makes me happy."
