Kim Kardashian West wears a strappy Chanel logo bikini

Kim Kardashian West has had quite a few sand-strewn days. Over the past 24 hours, she has shared a mini bikini montage, including sporty black and fuchsia incarnations. Ms. Kardashian West’s standout choice, however, was a strappy hot pink bikini with a bull’s-eye Chanel logo on the bottoms. It’s not the first time that she has worn a vintage bikini. In fact, KKW spearheaded the trend last year when she sported a Dior monogram string thing from New York-based vintage dealer Gabriel Held’s archive.

Kardashian West’s bikini is similar to the double-C pieces from the Chanel Spring 1994 collection that supermodels Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer wore when they strutted down the runway. More than two decades later, it doesn’t seem like the monogrammed swim trend is going anywhere. Louis Vuitton is currently selling a pair of LV-dotted swim briefs for a cool $255 and a Gucci can’t-miss-it, logo-boasting one-piece is going for $490. So, will Chanel revive their own logo when it comes to swimwear anytime soon? Let’s hope so. Until then, searching eBay for a bikini à la Kardashian West might be your best bet.
