Kim Kardashian West Returns to Paris for Fashion Week—Wearing a Piece From Virgil Abloh’s Debut Louis Vuitton Collection
Kim Kardashian West made her grand return to Paris fashion week today, traveling with husband Kanye to take in Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton debut. As if to prove once and for all that she’s moved past the events of her last visit, the super-influencer stepped out in an ensemble that looked firmly to the future.
Her teal cargo jacket appeared to one of Abloh's new designs for the French house, judging by its 3-D pockets, though she put her own bombshell twist on the men's piece by cinching it tightly at the waist to make it into a dress. The palette recalled the looks she sported in Tokyo from husband Yeezy’s Season 7 collection, and also recalled, appropriately enough for the setting, the blue jackets worn by French workers (which were also a favorite of late photographer Bill Cunningham). As always, the star accessorized like a pro with sport sunglasses, fitted bike shorts, and barely-there single-strap sandals.
