Kim Kardashian West Claps Back at Lamar Odom’s Comments About Khloé

Kim Kardashian West is settling in at home with her new baby girl, born Monday, January 15, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have time to come to her sister’s defense. The KKW Beauty boss brutally hit back at Khloé Kardashian’s ex-husband Lamar Odom on Twitter after his recent comments about the end of their marriage.

In an appearance on BET’s new Mancave talk show, Odom admitted that he still has Khloé’s initials tattooed on him, “for no reason,” but that it doesn’t mean he still has hope for the relationship.

“I understand when it’s over, it’s over,” he said, before adding with a smile, “When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I could see that.”

While the comment was said with a laugh, Kim didn’t think it was very funny. She took to Twitter to clap back that the end of the marriage was clear by the time Odom had visited his “second or third brothel,” referencing the NBA player’s troubled past, including when he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in 2015.

Odom’s struggle with substance abuse and resulting behavior ultimately led to the demise of his marriage to Khloé. Throughout his recovery, the KarJenner family — including Kim, who canceled her baby shower at the time of Odom’s overdose — stayed by his side to support him (Khloé even withdrew her divorce petition at one point while he recovered).

Khloé is now expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, who is also an NBA star, and Odom admitted on BET that it’s difficult to see her move on with someone within his industry. And while his comments might have triggered a defensive response from Kim, Odom had some kind words for his ex-wife, too.

“I’m happy for her,” he said about her pregnancy. “She took care of me, she’ll be a good mother. For real, [she’s] a great woman.”
