Kim Kardashian Wears Dramatic Greek Goddess-Inspired Gown to the Thierry Mugler Exhibition Opening

Kim Kardashian West is channeling her inner Greek goddess!

On Monday, Kardashian West, 38, jetted off to Montreal, Canada to attend the Thierry Mugler exhibition opening at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

For the occasion, Kardashian West wowed in a toga-like, sheer gown, designed by Mugler.

The ensemble also featured a gold semi-sheer plastic corset, which the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star paired with matching heels and chunky gold jewelry.

For her hair, Kardashian West switched things up by styling her black tresses in a chic, yet messy updo.

Later in the evening, Kardashian West opted for a wardrobe change. The second Mugler look was a figure-hugging white mini dress, that also featured a corseted bodice. The KKW Beauty also changed her hair, slicking it back and twisting the ends into a sculpture-like style.

Kardashian West’s support of Mugler comes just days after the reality star left very little to the imagination — and narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction — with the bust-baring Mugler black dress she rocked at the Hollywood Beauty Awards on Feb. 17.

Kardashian West, who accompanied hairstylist Chris Appleton to the event which honored titans of the glam industry, flaunted not just her toned legs and abs, but she also put her cleavage on full display in a vintage 1998 Thierry Mugler gown that featured criss-cross cut-outs at the bodice which some on social media have labeled a “boob belt.”

“You know that mood when you’re really feeling your look,” she teased on Twitter before sharing photos of the eye-catching get-up.

The gown, which Kardashian West has had “for a while,” according to Appleton, made its debut in 1998 on the runway for Thierry Mugler.

“OK, so I’m here with Chris. Guess who’s nominated. Don’t we look like we’re going to prom,” Kardashian West joked on her Instagram story. “I think this is a 1998 archive look that I’ve been dying to wear, so this was perfect.”

Of course, Kardashian West isn’t the only one to have love for Mugler.

For the 2019 Grammy Awards, rapper Cardi B turned heads with a vintage Mugler design pulled straight from the archives from the label’s Fall 1995 Couture collection.

The unique gown appears to feature a sequin nude bodysuit and long black skirt blooming out of a dramatic clamshell. The design featured a beautiful pearl belt draped around Cardi’s hips, full-length pastel pink gloves, a large pearl bib choker necklace and a twisted pearl beehive atop of her head.

That same night the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 26, slipped into another Mugler outfit — a white crepe shawl dress from the 1997 Spring collection to accept the award for best rap album for Invasion of Privacy.
