Kim Kardashian Uses Concealer as Lash Primer, and Our Minds Are Blown
Kim Kardashian West is the reigning kween of koncealer queen of concealer, and if you follow her on Instagram you've seen how she uses it to "Conceal! Bake! Brighten!" approximately 1,000 times in the course of the past month. But according to her app, she has an entirely different use for everyone's favorite miracle product: as a lash primer.
"If you don't have a volumizing mascara on hand, like my $6 fav, you can prime your eyelashes with a few coats of concealer," she wrote. "Apply it onto a small brush and brush through your lashes. Wait for it to set, then apply your mascara. Instant length and volume!"
Our minds are straight-up blown.
In the post, KKW also shared a few of her other favorite concealer hacks, noting that she always keeps one of the sticks on hand. Before applying a bold lipstick, she likes to use concealer all over her lips to "neutralize" the color of her lips and make the lipstick really pop (be sure to exfoliate first to make the product go on more smoothly, though). She also uses it in her post-lipstick game to clean up the outline and keep the color from bleeding.
Though the reality star credits concealer as a makeup bag hero (she also uses it for contouring, as an eyeshadow primer, and to define her brows), there's one thing she swears she'll never do with it again: Use it to turn her under-eyes white. She recently called out the "super white under-eye" as the one beauty offense she'll never repeat, which comes as a result of using a too-light shade when attempting to cover dark circles. Thankfully, she's figured out a way to ensure it doesn't happen again: "I do three-to-four steps and I've finally perfected it," she revealed.
Conceal, bake...you know.
