Kim Kardashian Stepped Out in Flip-Flops That Looked Exactly Like Pedicure Sandals

Only difference is Kim's version will set you back $450.

Over the years, Kim Kardashian has worn her fair share of head-scratching shoes — from Yeezy foam clogs that resemble Crocs to her favorite pointed-toe pantaboots, which are essentially just leggings with built-in heels. But her latest style could easily go down in history as one of her most eclectic pairs yet. 

On Friday, the fashion entrepreneur looked like she came straight from the nail salon while wearing a pair of black rubber flip-flops that look just like the disposable ones you get for free after a pedicure. The only thing was that Kim didn't just get a pedicure; she was taking her son Saint to his basketball game in Los Angeles. And her shoes most definitely weren't free. In actuality, Kim's eyebrow-raising flip-flops came from Balenciaga and cost her a cool $450.

Kim teamed the thin-soled thong sandals with an equally casual outfit that consisted of black joggers, a matching cropped zip-up hoodie that was layered underneath a baggy black windbreaker. She wore the hood of her jacket up and over a tattered black baseball cap, and accessorized with red-tinted shield sunglasses and a coffee cup in hand.

Kim is known to be ironic with her fashion choices. Take, for instance, just last weekend when she attended Balenciaga's 2024 pre-fall runway show carrying around a brown paper grocery bag in lieu of a purse. Of course, it wasn't just any grocery bag, it was a Balenciaga x Erewhon one that was made as part of the fashion brand's collaboration with the upscale supermarket.
