Kim Kardashian is keeping up her acting career.

Deadline reported on Dec. 4 that the business mogul is reuniting with Ryan Murphy for a new legal drama. Parade has confirmed the series commitment. Kardashian previously worked with Murphy on Season 12 of American Horror Story, playing the character Siobhan Walsh.

"It’s really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow. I’m so excited for the experience," the TV star told Variety ahead of her AHS debut. Kardashian revealed at the time that she was taking acting lessons. "It’s a challenge," she said. "I like to challenge myself."

Sources revealed to Deadline that Kardashian and her momager Kris Jenner committed to Murphy's new series, written by Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken, "right away" after being pitched the idea. They are both said to be serving as executive producers.

Who is Kim Kardashian playing in the new Ryan Murphy show?

Although Kardashian, an aspiring attorney, has not yet passed her bar exam in real life, onscreen she will be playing "Los Angeles’ most successful divorce lawyer and the owner of an all-female law firm." The character will reportedly be based in some capacity on famed celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.

Is there a release date for Kim Kardashian's new show?

A premiere date for the series has not been announced. However, sources told Deadline that the series is looking to begin production in late 2024 and premiere in early 2024.
