It may be eight days into 2020, but Kim Kardashian is just now wishing her more than 150 million Instagram followers a happy new year.

The KKW Beauty founder took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of herself in a matching Skims Triangle Bralette and Cheeky Brief. The sultry snap shows Kardashian leaning against a bench covered in Skims product, with the photographer visible in the mirror behind her.

"A little late but Happy New Year," she captioned the post.

Paper magazine's account was quick to remind Kardashian about how delayed her new year's message was: "A little late GIRL ITS THE 8TH LMAO."

Others praised the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star for the "gorgeous" photo, with one fan deeming it the "thirst trap of the year." (Take that, Kylie!)

There was another faction of commenters who saiid that "Kanye would be upset" by the sexy photo that Kim shared, alluding to a headline-making moment from the most recent season of "KUWTK" during which Kanye criticized his wife for dressing too sexily the night before the Met Gala.

After saying that he "didn't realize that [her dressing in revealing outfits] was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that's married and loved," Kanye told Kim, "you are my wife, and it affects me when pictures are too sexy."

"You built me up to be this sexy person and confidence and all this stuff," Kim responded. "And just because you’re on a journey and you’re on a transformation doesn’t mean that I’m in the same spot with you."
