Kim Kardashian Shared a '90s Throwback Photo of Herself Wearing Butterfly Clips

Kim Kardashian is quite the fan of throwback photos — in fact, the KKW Beauty founder shares flashback pics fairly regularly on her Instagram grid, and honestly, it never gets old (at least to us, that is). Most recently, the mom of four shared a priceless photo from when she was a teenager in which she's serving full-blown '90s beauty realness... butterfly clips, icy blue eye shadow, and all. Naturally, this makes it one of our favorite throwback moments from the reality star thus far.
On the afternoon of Friday, December 5, Kardashian shared the photo on her grid, along with the simple caption: "Coolness," which we can practically hear her saying out loud. Also in the photo is her older sister Kourtney Kardashian, as well as her father, the late Robert Kardashian.
In addition to the butterfly clips and frosted blue eye shadow, which were both huge beauty trends in the '90s and early 2000s, Kardashian was also repping another major fad from the decade: thin eyebrows. Hey, just about everybody had them back then (Lucy Hale included), and Kardashian was no exception.
It seems Kardashian was all about the butterfly clips during this time, as she previously shared a photo from 1997 where she's sporting a super similar look — clips, shadow, brows, the whole shebang.
