Kim Kardashian and Kanye West still make a good team.

While showing a behind-the-scenes look at the launch of SKKN via her Instagram Story, Kardashian opened up about how involved her ex was in the creative process.

"Of course, my creative process wouldn’t have been complete—and I always give credit where credit is due—without Kanye or Ye," she said. "He brought his team and introduced me to Willo [Perron, a designer] and came up with the new name. That was actually his idea. The packaging shapes were his and even the fonts he did, just like SKIMS."

Kardashian showcased a few different mood boards with pictures of neutral stone sculptures tacked onto them. The various sculptural, abstract pieces served as inspiration for her skincare line's packaging.

"You guys should have seen the first set of packaging," she continued. "When I tell you Kanye walked in the room and was like, 'This is not it,' and he was right. Packaging is definitely his thing."

SKKN by KIM, a refillable nine-piece skincare line that officially dropped yesterday, follows the reality TV mogul's previous forays into the beauty realm with KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance.

"What began as a psoriasis diagnosis became the catalyst for my journey of skincare discoveries, inspiring me to learn more about my skin and how to care for it," Kardashian said in a press release. "Working with some of the top dermatologists and estheticians over the years has given me the incredible opportunity to learn from their expertise—and I knew I had to share my learnings."

Kardashian and West married in 2014, though she officially filed for divorce in 2021. They share four children together: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
