Kim Kardashian is not here for the drama her ex-husband Kanye “Ye” West is bringing into her life (again). After “Carnival” rapper publicly complained about their kids’ “fake school,” insiders are saying that the SKIMS founder is understandably “frustrated” with his behavior.

First, a quick recap. Ye, who shares kids North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4, with Kardashian, took to Instagram this week to share an odd message to his ex-wife. “Kim take my kids out of Sierra Canyon now,” he wrote in a now-deleted post, referring to the Los Angeles private school the kids attend. “It’s a fake school for celebrities that are used by ‘the system.’”

He doubled down on his strange post in the caption, writing, “At this point everybody knows what ‘the system’ is code word for 👀 I was removed from my dad by the system and the system removed me from my children.”

Sources Say Kim Kardashian Is ‘Frustrated’

On Thursday, insiders told Page Six that “Kim has never kept the kids from their dad.” The insider added that the “Donda” rapper is “hardly around” and can go months (!!) without seeing the children. “[West] does not have a consistent home base, which emphasizes the importance of consistency for the kids in LA where they live. She will always stand firm on what is best for them,” the insider said.

Ye (unrealistically) wants his kids to be with “unaccredited teachers” in his “unaccredited Donda school, which has been riddled with lawsuits,” the source told the outlet. “Kanye doesn’t believe in standardized education in general and has told his kids that going to school is not necessary,” the source added. Yikes!

With this messy situation, The Kardashians star is “frustrated with his constant public attacks and naming of the school” by West because it “creates security and safety concerns each and every time for their children.”

“The school that the kids attend is a fantastic school,” the insider continued. “She wishes this to be a private matter and Kanye would not continue to take his grievances and turn them into public matters on social media.”

“There should be no issues. He makes them up,” the source added.

Ye Hits Back

Early Friday morning, the Grammy winner addressed the schooling situation again and his partnership with Adidas, which ended due to the rapper’s anti-Semitic hate speech. He shared a picture of an email printout that is titled “Yeezy Release Talking Points.”

“This is the document that they give employees at adidas when asked questions about Yeezy,” Ye said in his caption. “There is an overlap to adidas and Kim ignoring my opinion on where my kids go to school or people ignoring my name change or the entire celebrity culture ostracizing me for my political opinion.”

He added, “It all comes down to human rights which you sacrifice when you’re stigmatized with mental issues All these situations are actually far crazier than what I’ve been branded to be.”

Many people weren’t supportive in the comments. One person wrote, “You’re so out of line for saying this. The community is ostracizing you because you are quite literally supporting a mass genocide. You preach that you want insight on where your kids go to school yet you own a school that doesn’t require teachers to have teaching certificates and experience ? Are you literally insane ?”

“No one listening to bro because bro slowly losing his mind in front of everyone,” someone else wrote.

Co-Parenting Struggles

In a May 2023 episode of The Kardashians, the SKKN BY KIM founder vented to her mom Kris Jenner about how hard it is co-parenting with Ye. “I spent my whole morning having an anxiety attack,” she said. “I felt like I couldn’t breathe all day. You know when you’re just on the verge of tears and it feels like you’re about to cry? That’s how I felt all day.”

“I think at this point I just assume that everything I text Kanye is going to be put on the Internet,” she continued. “I think I can handle anything. I just get really heartbroken for my mom that she has to deal with so much from different sides and people coming at her.”

Kardashian added that she is trying to stay positive about Ye in front of her kids. “I have to sit here and not say anything ever because I know one day I will appreciate that,” she said. “S— could be going down and I get in the car and the kids want to blast dad’s music and I’m like, ‘He’s the best, of course!’ And I put it on and we’re singing along and inside I’m dying. I will be his biggest cheerleader to them forever. One day they’ll see for themselves [what he’s done] and I’ll answer whatever they want me to. It’s a lot.”

“The one who’s supposed to protect me and still does interviews saying he’s my biggest protector is the one that’s hurting me the most,” she added.
