Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson Reportedly Planning to Make Their 'Grand Debut' as a Couple at the 2022 Met Gala
From going Instagram official (with a cute albeit oddly photoshopped selfie) to dedicated tattoos, it's safe to say that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are surpassing all of the celebrity couple relationship milestones. And they've got no sign of stopping. In fact, the next look-how-in-love-we-are move is just around the corner, as the pair are reportedly planning to make a "grand debut" at the Met Gala next month.
As we all know, the Met Gala is finally making its post-pandemic return to the first Monday in May – last year's was *gasp* in September! – and with both Kim and Pete finding themselves on the guest list, it's no wonder that they're preparing to walk the steps of the Met as a pair.
"Kim has been invited to the Met Gala and wants nothing more than for Pete to go with her as her date," an insider told Hollywood Life. "They were both invited by Anna [Wintour] separately, as they have been in the past."
The source went on, "Kim and Pete are ready to make their grand debut as a couple and they feel that the Met Gala is the perfect place to do it." Naturally, Met Gala icon Kim has "already started to think about what she is going to wear and what she wants him to wear." We wonder if a matching outfit is in the cards?
Whether or not Kete will twin in their Met Gala looks remains to be seen, but according to the insider we do know something about what they'll be wearing. "[Pete will] not be wearing a dress this year as he did to the Met Gala in 2021," the source said, adding that (unlike last year) Kim "is not going to cover up her face."
The insider continued: "This is Kim’s favorite night of the entire year. She cannot wait to show him her ultra-glamorous side."
