The moment you’ve been waiting for and in a state of 🥴 over has arrived: Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian just made their red carpet debut at the 2022 Met Gala.

Like, we all knew this was coming, but truly, was anyone ready for THIS?

Yeah, me neither. Unlike Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, who simply cannot stop making out everywhere they go (truly, no red carpet event is safe), Pete and Kim’s vibes have been a little more chill and relaxed—probably because all their attention was on taking care of Kim’s dress, which once belonged to Marilyn Monroe.

This is one of the couple’s first official events together, although Pete did recently accompany Kim to the premiere of The Kardashians on Hulu, but he stayed in the background and let her have her moment. As Kim explained to E! News at the event, “He’s here to support me. It’s my thing. I don’t think it’s his thing to be all up here with me. So I’m just so happy he’s here.” She also joked that Pete was “hiding” and added that he’s “so supportive.”
