Kim Kardashian and North West Wore Matching Hairstyles to Beautycon Los Angeles

We already knew going into this past weekend's Beautycon Los Angeles festival that Kim Kardashian would be headlining. But what we didn't discover until Sunday was that perhaps the most notable beauty trend Kim brought with her was the mother/daughter matching look.

Kim hit LA's event with her daughter, North West, who looked like a full-on mini-me of her mom. The pair sported identical high ponytails with their hair pinned at the crown, leaving a cascading curtain of curls down to their shoulders. “Look who my date is to Beautycon,” Kim said in an Instagram video of she and North in the car together. “We did our hair the same way. Right? Are you my date?” For her part, Nori seemed hilariously unamused by the whole thing and stared blankly at the camera while her mom tried to get her hyped up about their matching hairstyles.

While at Beautycon, Kim and North were greeted by thousands of screaming fans who came to see the reality star and mogul behind KKW Beauty spill some beauty secrets and get a first sniff at KKW Fragrance's latest Kimoji offering. North was also put to work as her mom's miniature perfume tester, sampling a spritz of the new Kimoji Cherry.

This is hardly the first time North West has followed the lead of the rest of her famous family and shown her chops as a beauty influencer. She's played makeup artist to herself and to her mom on Kim's Insta stories countless times over the years, and has even begun making requests about how she wants to wear her hair. (We wonder if this latest style was her idea?)

In fact, the 5-year-old just might have a budding vlogging career on her hands. "My daughter watches so many YouTube tutorials and videos and she was unboxing the My Little Pony ColourPop collection and I thought to myself, ‘I wish I was recording this’ because her reaction was so funny," Kim told WWD last year. "And then she did makeup on the My Little Pony that they gave and she said, ‘Mom, I want to do a YouTube video.'"

Here's hoping we see North West as a Beautycon keynote speaker in 2025.
