Kim Kardashian got fans shivering with her new photo, as the reality star noticed a strange shadow in the background of a recent selfie that doesn't look like it belongs to her.
The 42-year-old shared a photo she took while home alone in which she wears a pink dress that looks to be in the alteration phase. With her hair up in a messy bun and her face free of makeup, Kardashian looks great, but it's what's behind her that she asked fans to focus on.
Kardashian wrote in the caption, "Soooo I took this pic last week when I was alone and now going through my phone I am freaking out noticing a woman in the window."
In the photo, the mother of four stands in front of a bright window that creates a shadow on the television behind her. If you look closely, the shape of a woman can be seen there, but the silhouette doesn't match Kardashian.
Fans had a lot of guesses and jokes in the comments, with one writing, "It’s just Kourtney 😂." The shadow looks like it could belong to a person with short hair, which is the style that Kourtney Kardashian is currently rocking.
Another joked, "She’s trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty."
"That’s you from another dimension watching over you," suggested someone else.
A couple of fans connected it to Kardashian's upcoming role in the new season of American Horror Story, with comments like, "American Horror Story: Kim K," and, "The AHS promo going wild."
Of course, there were plenty of people going with more logical analyses as well, with a top comment reading, "It’s probably her personal assistant. She just wanted to post this pic without appearing as if she wants to really post this pic because she thinks she looks good in minimal makeup."
Many fans pointed out that, while Kardashian could've been alone while she took the photo, someone was likely in the house to take her measurements or make adjustments to the garment she was wearing at the time.
Despite all the theories going around on social media, this is probably a Kardashian mystery that will stay unsolved.
