It’s Kim Kardashian-West’s fifth anniversary with Kanye West, and you know what that means: lots of reminiscing about the big day from the whole Kardashian crew. Big sis Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram earlier today to share her own favorite memory of the star-studded Florentine affair, and we think hers might be the winner. Apparently, Mason Disick (son of Kourtney and ex Scott Disick) was the ring bearer — but moments before he was meant to walk down the aisle, Mason was nowhere to be found.
Kourtney lays out the story in full in her Instagram caption, calling the posted pic her “absolute favorite photo from Kanye and Kim’s wedding.” Here’s what happened: “We couldn’t find him. It was almost time to walk down the aisle and he was the ring bearer. We finally found him asleep underneath a table in the back room in the old Italian fortress where we were all getting ready.” The photo features then-4-year-old Mason sound asleep, sitting on the floor in a full suit and dress shoes, and no doubt exhausted by all the commotion around him.
Mason’s changed a lot in the last five years, a fact not lost on his mother. “My baby is so big now,” Kourtney writes, adding a crying emoji. “Penelope was just a baby at the wedding and Reign was in my tummy but nobody knew yet. Happy five year anniversary!” Time really does fly. We doubt this is Kim’s favorite memory of the day (it sounds like a nerve-wracking few minutes for a bride), but it might be ours. Happy anniversary Kim! To many more.
