Kim Kardashian Just Shut Down a Theory About Baby Number Three's Name
Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child via surrogate. "Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," Kardashian wrote on her website Monday. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."
Since then, though, Kardashian hasn't offered many additional details about the newest Kardashian West family member. We know their newborn weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces at the time of birth (which appears to be early morning on January 15), but that's about it. The couple has strategically stayed mum about baby number three's name—so of course the Internet's gone into overdrive drive trying to guess it.
Fans thought they were onto something when Kardashian uploaded a close-up shot of a Louis Vuitton logo to Instagram Thursday. Was this an indication that Kimye named their newest daughter after the fashion house? "Elle V. West" quickly became the most popular guess in the post's comments.
But Kardashian shut that rumor down with one swift tweet. She replied "NOPE!" in response to Us Weekly's article about the Louis Vuitton theory. "It was Kim Jones last show and wanted to snap a LV pic 😂 How amazing did Naomi & Kate look?!" Kardashian tweeted. Check it out for yourself, below:
This is just one of several out-there theories about Kimye's third child. Social media was convinced for weeks that Kylie Jenner, who's reportedly pregnant, was actually the couple's surrogate or gestational carrier. But Kardashian low-key dismissed that in a blog post yesterday, writing that she and West found their gestational carrier through an agency.
Looks like we'll just have to stay tuned for this one. Your guess about the baby's name is as good as ours.
