Kim Kardashian just broke her selfie silence with a cool blonde transformation

It's an age-old saying: when a person changes their hair, they're about to change their life.
And you'd be forgiven for excluding the Kar-Jenner family from this proverb - after all, they change their hair on a literal bi-daily basis at this point, from cherry reds to platinum blonde, extensions to crops and beyond.
And Kim herself's no stranger to a hair overhaul - in the past year alone she's had mink balayage, dip-dye, Love Island terrier hair, beachy blonde and 90s chic.
But that it's been a big month for Kim Kardashian, following reports that she's undergoing a divorce from partner Kanye West. That in mind, perhaps there's a little more sentimental meaning to her latest hair update.
Kim posted an image to IG - her first grid selfie since rumours began circulating about her possible separation from Kanye - featuring a gorgeous half-up high pony. Her hair colour was even lighter than her latest mink transformation, complimented by a subtle nude lip, bold brows and winged liner.
Chris Appleton, the hair technician behind the look reposted the image, with the caption:
"lighter bronde over Christmas, secret to keeping it cool is adding the darker base at the root. 💫"
Side-note - anyone else vibing bronde right now? It's the perfect transitional colour if you're moving from a super dark shade to lighter tones, but keen to protect the health of your strands - something we know Kim K's passionate about, after taking a hair styling break a couple of months ago.
Many of Kim's pals waded in with their support and compliments, including Kylie and her BFF Stassie.
Mark our words -it's been a slow burner over the past couple of years, but bronde's about to hit the big time.
