Wake surfing…all the cool kids are doin’ it these days.

Recently, we’ve seen Shakira throwing hacks, Mark Zuckerberg flailing like a baby bird learning to fly, Chris Hemsworth shredding with Kelly Slater, Dan Bilzerian towing behind a douchey $24 million superyacht, and Kendall Jenner showing her skills.

Now, the latter’s half-sister, Kim Kardashian, (almost) gave it a go, too.

Posting to her Instagram story, Kim showed a view from an undisclosed lake, legs unveiled, with this message:

“Wish I could have wake surfed by my shoulder is still out of commission.”

So, what’s up with Kim’s injury?

Per The Sun, Kim said:

"I broke my shoulder and tore the tendon so I've been out of the gym a few weeks, but I'm back!

“Okay, guys, well, something you don't know about me, I broke my shoulder, and I tore the tendons, and so Melissa [Alcantara; a fitness coach] had the same thing happen to her.

“So we're starting our rehab today and our workouts cause I have to get back in the gym.

"Nothing is going to keep me down."

As for Kim’s half-sister, Kendall, she wasn’t half bad during her recent wake surfing session. She didn’t need the rope for stability; she had a fairly relaxed style, arms low and calm (unlike Zuckerberg); and she cruised up and down, almost hitting the lip.

Wonder how Kim would fair during a wake surfing session?

Would she have good style? A stink bug stance with that protruding, Brazilian butt lift?

Goofy foot or regular?

Looks like she’s got the interest, per her social media post above; but it sounds like we’ll have to wait until that shoulder heals up to see what she's got.

Celebs, they’re just like us.
