On Saturday, Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Pete Davidson's friend Dave Sirus shared a candid text conversation Davidson had with Kardashian's ex Kanye West, who has been harassing Davidson for months due to his relationship with Kardashian.

E! verified the text screenshots were real from a source close to West and got details from a separate source about how Kardashian feels about Davidson reaching out to her ex-husband.

The Instagram has been taken down, but screenshots of the post remain online.

Here's the text conversation transcribed.

Pete Davidson: Yo it’s Skete. Can you please take a second and calm down It’s 8am and it don’t gotta be like this. Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f*cking lucky that she’s your kids mom. I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet. Grow the f*ck up.

Kanye West:
Oh you using profanity. Where are you right now?

Davidson:
In bed with your wife. [Davidson shared a selfie of himself in bed, flashing a peace sign with his tongue out]

West: Happy to see you’re out the hospital and rehab

Davidson:
Same here. It’s wonders what those places do when you go get help. You should try it. I’m in La for the day if you wanna stop being a little internet bitch boy and talk. You don’t scare me bro. Your actions are so p***y and embarrassing. It’s so sad to watch you ruin ur legacy on the daily

West:
You’re more than welcome to come to Sunday Service

Davidson:
Why don’t we meet after Sunday service and saints game … I’ll be at the BHH we can have food and talk it out in my room. Privately one on one. Man to man. What you are doing to your family is dangerous and going to scar them for life. Please handle these matters privately bro I beg you

West:
You wanna see me
Come to Sunday Service

Davidson:
This isn’t public dude. I’m not here for pictures and press. Which is obviously all you care about. My offer stands. I wish you’d man up for once in your life. Let me help you man. I struggle with mental stuff too. It’s not an easy journey. You don’t have to feel this way anymore. There’s no shame in having a little help. You’ll be so happy and at peace. You have no idea how nice I’ve been to you despite your actions towards me.

I’ve stopped SNL from talking about or making fun of you which they’ve wanted to do for months.

I’ve stopped stand up comedians from doing bits about you cause I don’t want the father of my girls kids to look bad out there.

I have your back even though you treat me like shit because I want everything to be smooth.

But if you continue to press me like you have for the past 6 months I’m gonna stop being nice.

The texts caused a stir, E!'s source said, but Kardashian is proud of Davidson for reaching out to West and standing up for himself.

“She's really thankful Pete is extremely understanding and chill, and is very happy he is sticking up for himself,” the source said. “She thinks it's complete nonsense how Kanye is acting, and enough is enough. She's so happy Pete spoke out [and] hopes Kanye can now move on.”

Kardashian herself, Us Weekly reports today, is hurt by West's posts about their children.

In West's last Instagram, he wrote about their 8-year-old daughter North, claiming he wasn't allowed to see her. “This was on my daughters back pack when I was ‘allowed’ to see her last week This is why I go so hard for my family I am wired to protect my family at all cost As the priest of my home Don’t worry Northy God is still alive,” he captioned the post.

Kardashian commented on the Instagram, telling West: “Please stop with this narrative, you were just here this morning picking up the kids for school.”

Us's source said Kardashian is deeply hurt by the fact that North could come across Kanye’s posts and it could affect her. She’s doing her best with the joint custody, but there are certain things that are hard to control.”

The source added Kardashian is still hopeful that she and West will be able to co-parent their four children peacefully over time. “She and Kanye don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things which is very unfortunate, but it’s what she’s dealing with,” the source said. “It’s a daily struggle and she hopes they can soon coparent amicably.”

TMZ's report today suggests it may be a bumpy road getting there. The outlet was told that Kardashian and West are “hardly speaking to each other and haven't for quite a while,” and that West and Kardashian may end up in court to settle out custody issues.
