How Kim Kardashian Feels About Kanye West Singing About Their Divorce and ‘Losing My Family’ on Donda Album

Kanye West had a huge listening party for his new (still unreleased) album Donda that Kim Kardashian and their four children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West attended last night. While the full songs and lyrics aren't out yet, West made headlines for addressing his February divorce from Kardashian in his track seemingly called “Losing My Family.” Music site Genius has tentative lyrics, although since the album isn't out yet, they aren't 100 percent complete or confirmed.

Lines include “I'm losing my family/I'm losing my family/I'm losing my family/Losing my family” and “Oh, Lord led me/Writing on the wall/That thought was only/She's screaming at me/Honey, why could you leave?/Darling, how could you leave?/Come back tonight, baby/Come back tonight, darling, please/Darling, how could you leave?”

So how does Kardashian feel about West turning their marital struggles into music? E! got comprehensive intel from a source about Kardashian's thoughts and involvement in the tracks.

Ahead of the listening party, the insider told E! that “Kanye did write a song about Kim and their marriage and Kim gave her input about it. He was respectful and gave her the heads up, and did not want to blindside her.”

That source added that Kardashian and West have a much better relationship now that they aren't fighting to keep their romantic relationship going. “Kim and Kanye are doing great now,” the source started. “Now that the pressure of the marriage is off, they are on the same page as friends.”

After some initial adjustment to their new life as divorced parents, the two's co-parenting dynamic and communication are “much better. They reconnected a few months ago and have been easing into a friendship now,” the source said.
