Kim Kardashian wants the world to know that she is self-made and so is the rest of her siblings. Kim and Kylie Jenner were recently named on Forbes' 2018 List of America’s Richest Self-Made Women. Kylie, however, has received backlash for her inclusion after many felt that she received help thanks to her family's name and wealth.

"I really didn’t get it, because she is 'self-made' - we are all 'self-made,'" Kim told Refinery29. "What, because we came from a family that has had success? To me, that doesn’t really make sense... I know so many people like that [who] haven’t turned out to be as successful as Kylie. If anything, I've seen the complete opposite."

In her interview with Forbes, Kylie opened up about her insecurity with her lips, something that Kim says she's proud of her for turning it into something successful. Kylie recently revealed she removed her lip fillers after her pregnancy.

Kim also says that Kylie has been working hard since day one and that neither Kylie nor anyone else in her family has asked for anything before starting their own projects.

"Me, Kylie, not one [of the siblings] has ever depended on our parents for anything besides advice," Kim told Refinery29. "That’s how I lived my life with my dad [Robert Kardashian]. He never gave me anything. We might have the opportunity, but I’ve seen it go the complete opposite way. Nobody works harder than my sisters and my mom."

According to Forbes' list, Kylie makes more than Kim and will likely become the youngest self-made billionaire beating out Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.

Kim also shares the same thoughts as her younger sister when it comes to passing down the business to her children one day.

"I’ve built something, and you hope one of your kids will want to be in the family business and work with you," Kim said "Kanye probably feels the same way. He wants one of our kids to work at Yeezy and take over [it]. Luckily, we have a lot of kids."
