Kim Kardashian's style has truly evolved over the years. Gone are the days of her rocking wide belts and peplum tops, and honestly, thank goodness. The second oldest Kardashian sister, with the help of her husband Kanye West, has helped turn street-style mainstream and make spandex high fashion.

In 2018, Kim had many head-turning looks, some for good reasons and some for bad, but many of them showing off her toned abs. Kim stunned in a gold sequin Versace dress at the Met Gala, and at the People's Choice Awards, stood out in a curve-hugging sheer vintage Jean Paul Gaultier dress and Yeezy boots (her look even got a shout out from Nicki Minaj!).

But during an interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" back in July, she paired black velvet leggings with a black one-shoulder crop top and clear Yeezy mules—a look that was seasonally confusing and all around odd. And at the MTV Movie & TV Awards, she sported a white crop top with a long sequin skirt and fulani braids, a hairstyle for which she received criticism for appropriating.

Other trends Kim put on repeat this year were the color pink and small rectangular sunglasses. Over the summer, the reality star and beauty mogul wore a couple skin-tight bubblegum pink, cut-out mini dresses. She paired multiple looks, on and off the red carpet, with the sunglasses.
