Kim Davis Wore a Cosby Sweater to the SOTU
At Tuesday night’s State of the Union, Michelle Obama wore a marigold dress from Narciso Rodriguez, Jill Biden looked beautiful in a hot pink sheath, a woman in the audience (who was loved by the camera) dressed up in a ROYGBV sweater and accessorized with a massive flower brooch. Basically, the females in the audience dressed to impress — except for one: Kim Davis.
Kimberly Jean Bailey “Kim” Davis, a county clerk in Kentucky who unrightfully denied marriage licenses to same-sex couples, was a guest of Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who gave her a ticket after his staff “heard from the Family Research Council that Ms. Davis and her family hoped to attend the State of the Union address.”
But despite the generosity of the congressman, Davis seemingly disrespected the offering by showing up wearing an Ugly Christmas Sweater. Social media users really took issue with the fact that she pulled from the discarded Cosby sweater bin at the Goodwill.
Kim Davis’ political views are as outdated as her sweater choice for tonight’s #SOTU.

Kim Davis keeps her face small so she has enough storage in the rest of her head for hate and sweater patterns. pic.twitter.com/v5xe5HARcV

I’m assuming Kim Davis thought this was an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. #SOTU

#SOTU sadly the only thing everyone in that room can agree on is Kim Davis’ ugly sweater.

“What if I just wore this sweater that was knit by a homeless raccoon? Yeah, I’m going to wear that.” -Kim Davis #SOTU

Once again, Davis displayed her ignorance — and most of all, unappreciation — yet this time, it came in the form of a silent protest. If the real police can’t get her, at least the fashion cops can.
