Kim Confronts Kanye About Trump as Celebs Unfollow
Kanye West had a busy day on Twitter yesterday, and his behavior has his celebrity friends unfollowing him by the dozens.
In a tweet storm that has drawn A LOT of criticism, Kanye expressed support for Donald Trump, going as far as to call him his "brother."
"You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him," he wrote. "We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought."

He followed that up with a ton of tweets about not following the crowd and encouraging people to have "free thought."
If your friend jumps off the bridge you don't have to do the same. Ye being Ye is a fight for you to be you. For people In my life the idea of Trump is pretty much a 50 50 split but I don't tell a Hillary supporter not to support Hillary
I love Hillary too.

I love when people have their own ideas. You don't have to be allowed anymore. Just be.
Love who you want to love. That's free thought. I'm not even political. I'm not a democrat or a republican

To say Kanye's followers were disappointed with his tweets is a bit of an understatement. Fans responded to Yeezy, pointing out that while promoting free thought is awesome, not all "free thoughts" are created equal. In other words, they're not here for Kanye's support of Trump's opinions, which are often divisive, perpetuate racism and sexism, and generally invoke fear in Americans.

He doesn't love. He doesn't spread love. He spreads fear. His tactics aren't ethical and disruptive.

That's when Kim Kardashian - who was a vocal supporter of Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election - stepped in to try and control the situation. Kanye shared that she called him and asked him to make it clear that he doesn't support all of Trump's policies.
my wife just called me and she wanted me to make this clear to everyone. I don't agree with everything Trump does. I don't agree 100% with anyone but myself.

Despite such a strong reaction from Kanye's fans, the controversial rapper remains unrepentant. As of this morning, he's still having a very public love-fest with Trump.
