Kim Cattrall seems to have changed her tune regarding plastic surgery.

While promoting her new movie About My Father co-starring Robert De Niro, the actress opened up about her attitude toward medical treatments targeting the physical signs of aging.

Speaking with The Times, Cattrall said that as she gets older, she sees the benefits of plastic surgery: "I'm in my sixties now and I'm all about battling aging in every way I can. There are fillers, Botox, there’s so many different things that you can investigate and try and see if it’s for you."

But she also highlighted what she sees as the most important factor if you decide to get plastic surgery, saying, "But yes, if you have the money and, more importantly, the right surgeon. It can’t be emphasized enough. You want to look like you!"

"It's not just a vanity thing. I play a certain kind of woman who looks a certain kind of way. And professionally, I am looking after myself," she added.

Currently, Cattrall has the entertainment industry and Sex and the City fans buzzing following confirmation that she will have a cameo in the upcoming And Just Like That... second season. While she is set to only appear in one episode, the season two finale, fans are still very excited.

The news of Cattrall's involvement came out shortly after her interview with The Times was released. In the interview, she didn't speak much about the latest HBO show, but she did share a general note about her previous work for the series.

"I moved on. I think the greatest place to negotiate from, whatever the situation, is from strength and self-knowledge," she said, adding, "Also, at this point in my life, I don’t want to be on a set and be unhappy. I want it to be on terms that are artistically fulfilling and also that I am happy."

Along with this statement, Cattrall previously displayed strong disinterest in returning to the franchise, with reports of tension with co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, which made her return even more of a surprise.
