Everyone remembers where they were when it was announced that Kim Cattrall would reprise her role as Samantha Jones during And Just Like That …’s season 2 finale back in June, shaking the internet all the while. And now, just weeks after the iconic cameo finally hit our screens, it seems that Cattrall is still taking inspiration from her fashionable character’s quick — but incredibly memorable — appearance.

On Thursday, the actress stepped out for the Forbes Power Women’s Summit wearing a look that bared a striking resemblance to the one Jones wore when taking Carrie Bradshaw’s call from the back of a London Uber. While her character’s outfit in the scene consisted of a red blouse layered under a shiny gold blazer jacket, Cattrall opted to pair a similar holographic bomber jacket with a brown knee-length button-up dress (complete with a waist-cinching belt).

Snakeskin heels, a gold necklace, and dainty gold earrings accessorized the actress’s look, and she wore her blonde shoulder-length hair down in soft curls with a side part. She finished her glam by adding a pink lip, feathered lashes, and a glowy complexion.

After walking the carpet, Cattrall headed into the event, where she spoke with Katie Couric about first landing the role of Samantha and her hopes for the character in the future.

“When they offered me the role, I just turned 40. And this was in 1997. And 40, in 1997 was not 40 today,” she shared. “So, at 41 with just that promise, I took that step. And I’m so glad I did. She changed my life.”

Kim then added of the possibility of a Samantha-centered spin-off, “I mean, most of the scenes in Sex and the City, I would not [be] able to do that [now] without a counselor there. I would love to hear a character like Samantha, her point of view about what’s going on in New York City or London or wherever the city is.”
