Kim Basinger Posts Sweet Note After Daughter Ireland's Pregnancy Reveal

The actress reminisced about her own pregnancy, also noting that she's 'looking forward to meeting this little Snoopy in June.'

Model Ireland Baldwin, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, is pregnant with her first child, a baby girl, and her mother couldn't be happier.

The grandmother-to-be shared a major throwback on Instagram when she compared an ultrasound photo of Ireland before she was born to that of Ireland's unborn child now.

Basinger wrote a sweet note to go along with the photos: "I know it’s hard to read… But in April of 1995, this was a note I wrote on one of my first sonograms of baby Ireland. It said '4 white paws and a tail. Like I said to Dr. Liu (my OB), It’s a puppy!'"

She continued, writing, "This weekend, 27 years later, I looked at @irelandirelandireland’s newest sonogram and could have sworn she was having a Beagle! Like mother, like daughter…. and a new baby girl coming our way. So looking forward to meeting this little Snoopy in June…"

Ireland commented on her mother's post, "Awwwwwww!!!!!!"

The model's partner, Portuguese musician RAC, whose real name is André Allen Anjos, also commented, writing, "i can’t wait to meet her too."

Alaia Baldwin Aronow, the daughter of Stephen Baldwin, and Ireland's cousin, wrote, "🥰🥰🥰🥰 so excited."

RAC and Ireland shared the news together on their own social media pages a week ago, simply posting a photo of the ultrasound and writing, "Happy New Year ❤️."

Friends and family congratulated the couple on the fantastic news, with Ireland's other cousin Hailey Bieber simply writing, "cryin."

"Amazing…," commented Ireland's father Alec.

Some of the other people celebrating the news in the comments were Paris Hilton, Sarah Paulson, Rumer Willis, and more.

Willis is also pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas, and she told Ireland in the comments, "Yay can’t wait to meet you little one."
