Leave it to Mr. and Mrs. West to close out the year the way they know best – making fashion headlines. From their secret expensive wedding to their controversial Vogue cover to Kim’s derriere, 2014 has officially become The West World Year. The latest pictures to surface is the beautiful new Spring Balmain menswear campaign, photographed by Mario Sorrenti, which shows various poses with the couple including a close up of the Kim and Kanye ready to kiss.

“I wanted to capture a moment of love. Kim and Kanye are style icons and friends,” explains Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s designer. “Together, they represent love, beauty and diversity – they are the new modernity. This is more than a campaign, it expresses something beyond clothes – it is a celebration of love and friendship.” Rousteing, who has become a close ally with the Kardashian clan lately from being the designer behind Kim’s rehearsal and reception looks for her wedding to being the first show that little Nori attended with her parents this past fashion week in Paris to doing custom looks for Kris and Kendall, a relationship cemented from his close friendship with Kanye over the years.

Balmain, though, is no stranger to embracing pop culture status with their campaigns, after Rihanna starred in the women’s one a few seasons back. But somehow it just doesn’t compare to The Kiss.
