Spoilers ahead for the episodes 1 and 2 of OMITB Season 3.

Meryl Streep is in the building...but is she the killer? Only Murders in the Building returned for its highly anticipated third season on Aug. 8 and with it, a new crop of suspects.

If you watched the two-episode premiere, then you know that Ben Glenroy, played by Paul Rudd, died not once, but twice in the first episode. His first death occurred at The Goosebury Theater during the opening night of Oliver's Death Rattle show.

Much to everyone's surprise, Ben later showed up to the party at Oliver's apartment alive and well after having his stomach pumped and throwing up. "They said maybe it was something I ate," he shared, before revealing that he saw "the dead person light."

"I saw it and I saw all the s--t that I pulled with all of you over these last few months and I thought 'I can't die like this,'" Ben said. "And so I'm back and I'm gonna be so much better."

However, he didn't have much time to make good on his word. After going around the room and speaking with his fellow cast members, Ben, who had just moved into Amy Schumer's place in the Arconia, left to go up to his own apartment to "crash" and "shower up." Sadly, he ended up crashing through the ceiling of the recently reopened elevator...making him the Arconia's latest victim.

So, who killed Ben? Meet our suspects:

Who is the killer on Only Murders in the Building Season 3?

The suspect: Kimber (Ashley Park)

Did a lovers' quarrel lead to Ben's death? Something clearly went down between Ben and Kimber prior to the opening night of Death Rattle. Ben apologized to Kimber at Oliver's party for making "everything messy" between them. "I f---ed up, but I'm gonna make it right," he vowed.

Is she the killer? We're going to need some more flashbacks—it's too soon to tell.

The suspect: Bobo (Don Darryl Rivera)

All Ben ever did was say no to Bobo. Perhaps Bobo was tired of the no-nos and pushed him down the elevator?

Is he the killer? Seems unlikely...for now.

The suspect: Ty (Gerald Caesar)

Ahead of opening night, Ben got mad at Ty for wanting to use his trainer, whom he called his "secret weapon." Ben asked Ty for forgiveness at Oliver's party, but maybe that wasn't enough.

Is he the killer? The current motive is weak, but let's see where things go.

The suspect: Jonathan (Jason Veasey)

Could Ben's understudy have killed him for his chance to be in the spotlight? At the opening night party, Ben told Jonathan, "When this started, I was never gonna let you ever step foot on that stage, but moving forward, I'm gonna consider it." Maybe Jonathan wanted more than just a Wednesday matinee.

Is he the killer? One might argue he has the motive, but Ben's first "death" got the play shut down, so how would killing him get Jonathan what he wants?

The suspect: Cliff (Wesley Taylor)

Ben acknowledged at the party that he hadn't been easy to deal with, given all of his complaints about his dressing room. Could Cliff have been frustrated with Ben, who couldn't even remember his name, or did he maybe want publicity for his first solo producing effort?

Is he the killer? The sociopath vibes are certainly there, but having a wealthy character's son be the killer might be too similar to Season 1.

The suspect: Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep)

Four months before his death, Ben jokingly warned Loretta not to upstage him. Although Ben apologized and asked for forgiveness from members of the cast for his behavior at Oliver's party months later, he told Loretta that "CoBro knows a fellow snake when he sees one." Streep's character left the party soon after Ben, telling Mabel that Ben may be back, but it does not change the fact that "he is a f--king a--hole."

Is she the killer? The show certainly wants us to believe that she is, which is perhaps the only case to be made against her being the culprit at this point. The evidence that could exonerate her? Whether or not she still has the rattle-embroidered handkerchief that Oliver gave the cast.
