Mako is Bolin's older brother and the leader of the pro-bending team, the Fire Ferrets. He is able to firebend and is seen as the bad boy. He is not afraid to share what is on his mind, even if it costs his relationships. Mako's biggest weakness is not taking the time to think through his decisions, which often puts him in danger. Since losing his parents when he was younger, he wears his father's signature red scarf to remind him of them.

David is known for his role as Bad Bundy in Married...with Children and Howard Green in The Young and the Restless. He has had a number of voice acting roles including Helia in Winx Club and Dagur the Derangedin DreamWorks Dragons.

Seychelle Gabriel as Asami Sato

Despite being the only non-bender on the team, she isn't afraid to join a fight and uses a special electrified glove as a weapon. She is also able to drive almost any vehicle and has the best strategic skills.

Seychelle starred as Lourdes Delgado in Falling Skies and even appeared in the The Last Airbender live-action film as Yue.

J.K. Simmons as Tenzin

Tenzin is the only living airbending master in The Legend of Korra. He is the youngest child of Katara and Aang. As the only airbender in his family, he has felt a pressure his entire life to continue the legacy. Because of this, he is a lot more serious than the rest of his siblings and is very protective of airbending traditions. He agrees to be Korra's teacher as she masters all four elements.

J.K. Simmons is an Academy Award winning actor, taking home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2011 for Whiplash. He is well-known for playing J. Jonah Jamison in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy.
