What to expect

In the heart of the Old North End sits Roosevelt Park, with its basketball courts, baseball mound, soccer field and playground. Those fields will be used for a variety of games and sports. There will be free pizza and ice cream, courtesy of Leonardos and Odd Otter.

Other organizations you can expect to see on Friday include the Fletcher Free Library, the nonprofit tennis group Kids on the Ball and the Big Blue Trunk that provides a variety of activities like airbrush tattoos, balloon twisting and a giant moving train.

Saturday will welcome a new group of participants, so there will be something new to do and see if families want to attend both days. The first 300 people will get free Folino's Pizza and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. There will be like music by Emma Cook and A2VT.

Kids on the Ball and the Big Blue Trunk will be attending Saturday as well. Whoa Nellie Kettle Corn and Little Artsy Faces will be there as well, serving up popcorn and face paints. Other activities include a bounce house, caricature art by Joe Ferris, Troy Wunderle's Big Top Adventures, Dan's Fried Dough, a potentially meeting with Miss Vermont 2024 Meara Seery and even a chance to meet Champ.

Local nonprofits Lund, Four Winds Nature Institute, Burlington Wildways and the Girl Scouts will have events of their own.
