At what point in our lives do we grow out of our fear of green? It's not only vegetables kids are scared of. Some of the most infamous monsters and villains out there — Frankenstein, the Hulk, the Joker — are green too. But as an adult, I find myself craving foods I once hated, like broccoli, spinach, asparagus and even Brussels sprouts. Are we supposed to wait for the younger generation to grow out of their pickiness, assuming that they'll see the green light too?

No. The secret to tricking young ones into liking broccoli is simple: cheese! Specifically cheddar, and more specifically, this cheesy bread. One bite and they'll have a vegetable epiphany and realize that broccoli + cheddar is one of the best combos ever.
The process is very similar to our cauliflower and zucchini cheesy breads. Start with riced or shredded veggies (store-bought broccoli rice is a life-saver) then add cheese and eggs. Press it into a large round and bake until golden and cooked through. Then top it with more cheese. Muhahaha! Seriously though, how could anyone not like it?
